Kammy Horne Is New Mpact CEO

Kammy Horne, AICP, has been named the new chief executive officer of Mpact (formerly Rail~Volution), Minneapolis, MN.

Horne has experience at every level of government and in both the private and public sectors through a 25-year career in transportation. Prior to joining Mpact, she served as senior vice president for development and planning at VIA Metropolitan Transit, San Antonio, TX. She has also worked for FTA, Texas DOT, HNTB, AECOM, and Michael Baker International.

Horne is a member of the APTA Board of Directors and is chair of the Planning and Program Development Committee and Planning and Program Development Steering Committee. She also serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Council and is a member of the High-Speed & Intercity Passenger Rail; Legislative; Innovative Funding, Finance, and P3; Connected and Automated Vehicle; and Sustainability committees, among others. She is a graduate of the Leadership APTA Class of 2012.
