Citilink has named Pam Schieber interim chief executive officer, positioning the longtime agency leader to guide the Fort Wayne, IN, public transit system through its leadership transition.

Schieber has spent 15 years with Citilink, most recently as its chief operating officer, advancing the agency’s commitment to connecting riders with jobs, education, and other opportunities. She brings extensive knowledge of the agency, its workforce, and the community it serves.

Schieber serves on APTA’s Strategic Engagement Council and participates in several APTA committees, including the Fare Collection Systems, Planning and Program Development, Workforce Development, Small Operations, and Bus Operations committees.

She succeeds John Metzinger, who has joined IndyGo as chief of staff. Citilink Board Chair Konrad Urberg thanked Metzinger for his five years leading the agency. “Under his leadership, Citilink has strengthened its foundation, advanced important initiatives, and positioned itself well for the future.”
