National Transit Career Day Is Three Weeks Away!

APTA and the public transportation industry are celebrating National Transit Career Day Nov. 13. APTA is sharing a wealth of free resources for members to use to ignite interest in transit careers in their region!

Sign up to participate in National Transit Career Day to gain access to the National Transit Career Day toolkit. Agencies and private- and public-sector organizations interested in collaborating to recruit new talent and engage current employees are encouraged to join APTA in highlighting the exciting career paths available in public transportation.

Here is what WMATA is up to:

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA) is collaborating with APTA to host the TransSTEM Academy students of the Francis L. Cardozo Education Campus for National Transit Carer Day. On Nov. 13, 35 students will travel downtown to APTA’s offices to learn about the career journeys of transit social media experts, engineers, planners, project managers, operations and administrative leaders, and more.
