Join APTA Leadership and Help Shape Future of Public Transportation

APTA is accepting nominations for its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Serving as an APTA officer or board member is an opportunity for APTA members to influence policy and guide strategic decisions; advance initiatives that support innovation, advocacy, and professional development; and expand their network and impact across the public transportation landscape.

Members of the APTA Board of Directors help govern APTA and oversee the association’s financial, legal, administrative, and member welfare responsibilities. The board meets in person three times per year, with virtual attendance options available. Active participation is essential.

The APTA Executive Committee provides strategic oversight between full board meetings. Members serve as both board and Executive Committee members and meet approximately three additional times annually, with virtual meetings as needed.
