Jennifer Pyrz Is New IndyGo President, CEO

IndyGo, Indianapolis, IN, has appointed Jennifer Pyrz as its new president and CEO. Pyrz had been serving on an interim basis since December 2023, following the resignation of former President and CEO Inez Evans.

Pyrz joined IndyGo in April 2020 as the agency’s chief development officer and vice president of infrastructure, strategy, and innovation, overseeing all day-to-day planning, design, and construction. That work included oversight of the Purple Line, one of the largest all-electric BRT projects in the U.S.

Prior to joining IndyGo, Pyrz was an engineering consultant who helped the agency in areas ranging from security, HVAC, and lighting upgrades to bus stop improvements and the planning and construction of the Red Line BRT route.
