Join Your Peers for Legislative Advocacy Afternoon, Capitol Hill Reception at the Legislative Conference
4/28/2025

On May 20, during APTA’s Legislative Conference May 18-20 in Washington, DC, the association will host an Advocacy Afternoon to advocate for full funding for public transit and passenger rail. Following that, the Capitol Hill Reception will be an opportunity for conference attendees to meet and greet lawmakers and their staff.
Participants’ voices are instrumental as Congress considers the FY26 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill, lays the groundwork for the next Surface Transportation Authorization, and debates other critical legislation. APTA will coordinate in-person visits with conference attendees’ Members of Congress and their staff during the Legislative Advocacy Afternoon between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
