Federal Partner Sessions Added to APTA Legislative Conference
4/6/2026

APTA’s upcoming Legislative Conference will include sessions that bring together senior leaders from across USDOT for an in-depth look at the federal priorities shaping the future of surface transportation. There will be a fireside chat with Pete Meachum, USDOT chief of staff, offering a candid view of the Department’s overarching vision and what stakeholders can expect in the year ahead.
FTA leaders will be part of a panel to discuss key issues facing transit agencies across the U.S., including safety and security, funding, and how transit systems are rising to meet the demands of major national events. Lastly, FRA leadership will provide remarks on the agency’s strategic direction and priorities.
Join the conference, April 12-14 in Washington, DC, for an event with great speakers and unique opportunities to advocate on behalf of public transportation and local communities.
