Review, Comment on APTA Bus Brake, Infrastructure Security Standards

The APTA Standards Program has advanced several new documents for public review and commenting and APTA is seeking feedback from all executive-level industry stakeholders to help shape the language in the documents.

The public comment period is an essential component of APTA’s consensus-based standards development process.

The current documents address the following topics:

Bus Brake and Chassis Systems

• Transit Bus In-Service Brake System Performance Testing

Infrastructure Security

• Security Lighting for Transit Passenger Facilities
