Review, Comment on APTA Standards

The APTA Standards Program has advanced eight new documents for public review and commenting and APTA is seeking feedback from all executive-level industry stakeholders to help shape the language in the documents.
The public comment period is an essential component of APTA’s consensus-based standards development process.
The current documents address the following topics:
Security and Emergency Management
- After-Action Reviews and Corrective Actions for Real-World Events
Infrastructure and Systems Security
- Approaches to Determine the Criticality of Transit Assets
- System Prohibition and Denial of Service for Crime and Misconduct
Transit Cybersecurity
- Visibility of Digital Networks, Systems, and Assets in Rail Transit Environments
Rail Transit Signals and Communications
- Wayside Signal ac Power System Inspection and Testing
- Yard and Shop Intercom System Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance
- Cable Plant Inspection and Testing
- Local Control Panel Inspection and Maintenance
