Trinity Metro Launches New Downtown Blue Line
6/12/2025

Trinity Metro, Forth Worth, TX, has launched the Blue Line, the second of its color-coded bus routes. The route offers easy connectivity to buses, Trinity Metro TEXRail, Trinity Railway Express, and Trinity Metro Bikes at Fort Worth Central Station and Fort Worth T&P Station.
“We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our partners and to continue gaining momentum for Trinity Metro, Fort Worth, and all of Tarrant County,” said Rich Andreski, Trinity Metro president and CEO. “We have more color-coded routes planned, and our Blue Line is the latest step.”

Visit Fort Worth and Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. are funding partners for the Blue Line. Fort Worth is a popular destination, with 11.5 million visitors last year—which means $3.5 billion in economic impact, according to Visit Fort Worth. An estimated $251 million in state and local tax revenues are generated by visitor spending. Thanks to the partners, riding the Blue Line is free year-round.
The route connects to downtown shops, dining, hotels and more. Select destinations along the Blue Line include stops near Fort Worth Convention Center, Fort Worth Water Gardens, and the popular Sundance Square.
