Support APTF and Invest in the Future of Public Transit!

Since 1988, the American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to propel nearly 400 public transit students and professionals to success.

Amanda Vandegrift received an APTF scholarship in 2012 while an engineering student at Georgia Tech. Today, she is deputy CEO of finance and administration at WeGo Public Transit in Nashville, TN, and a proud member of the 2025 Leadership APTA class.

Amanda and the Leadership APTA Class of 2025 fundraising team aim to raise $25,000 by Aug. 31. They are more than halfway to their goal but cannot do it without the industry’s help.
