Review, Comment on APTA Rail Transit Signals and Communications Standards

The APTA Standards Program has advanced seven new documents for public review and commenting and APTA is seeking feedback from all executive-level industry stakeholders to help shape the language in the documents.
The public comment period is an essential component of APTA’s consensus-based standards development process.
The current documents address the following topics:
Rail Transit Signals and Communications
- Fiber Optic Multiplexer Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance
- Signal Equipment Room Inspection
- Signal and Communication System Configuration Control
- AC and DC Power Supply Ground Detection Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance
- Vital Relay Testing
- Processor-Based System Inspection, Testing, and Configuration Control
- Impedance Bond Inspection and Maintenance
