Rep. Blumenauer Special Guest at APTA Legislative Conference

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) will take part in a fireside chat at APTA’s 2024 Legislative Conference April 7-9 in Washington, DC.

Rep. Blumenauer has relentlessly advocated for public transit and passenger rail in his nearly 28 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a key player in securing funding for public transportation in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and champions funding for multimodal improvements.

Blumenauer served on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee from 1996 to 2007 and is currently a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.

The conference is an opportunity for public transportation industry professionals to join together and advocate for full funding for public transit and passenger rail and will help educate APTA members on important federal legislation and policy initiatives. Learn more and register.
