New 10th Anniversary “See Tracks? Think Train Week” Materials

8/18/2026

For the 10th anniversary of “See Tracks? Think Train Week,” September 21-27, Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (OLI) is providing new outreach materials for public transportation agencies. The annual observance promotes awareness around rail safety and encourages the public to recognize the risks of trespassing on or near tracks. This year’s campaign includes a special 10th anniversary logo, updated social media graphics, and other materials available through OLI’s See Tracks? Think Train Week landing page.

Available on the website is a schedule of themes and audiences to help organizations plan activities throughout the week. New resources include social stories, social post artwork, vertical and horizontal billboards, posters, email signatures, virtual backgrounds, and a proclamation template. A downloadable social media content calendar with posts and graphics will be rolled out.

As part of the campaign, OLI asks participating organizations to tag OLI on social media and use campaign hashtags, including #SeeTracksThinkTrainWeek, #OperationClearTrack, #RedOutForRailSafetyDay, #RailSafetyEducation, and #SeeTracksThinkTrain.

During the anniversary week, first responders are encouraged to participate in Operation Clear Track—the largest rail safety initiative for first responders in the U.S.—led by OLI and the Amtrak Police Department, on September 22. Red Out for Rail Safety Day is September 25. Participants are encouraged to wear red in support of rail safety awareness.
