Marin Transit Appoints Robert Betts as New General Manager

Marin Transit, San Rafael, CA, has appointed Robert Betts as its new general manager. With more than 20 years in the transportation field, Betts brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to improving mobility for Marin County residents.

Betts most recently was Marin Transit’s director of operations and service development and has been an integral member of the agency since 2011, serving as director of operations & planning, planning manager, and senior planner. Before that, he was a senior transportation planner with CDM Smith.
