Leadership APTA Applications Are Open!

APTA is accepting applications for its 28^th Leadership APTA class. Leadership APTA is tasked with developing visionary and transformative senior and executive leaders for the public transportation industry. The deadline to submit applications is May 9.

Since the inaugural class, approximately 690 APTA members have participated in Leadership APTA. More than 70 percent of recent graduates now serve in C-Suite positions. Many have served on APTA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors and others have served in leadership roles on APTA committees and special task forces.

The Leadership APTA Committee will select up to 35 individuals from APTA member organizations to participate in the year-long program. Each APTA member organization may submit one candidate. Members of the Class of 2026 will be selected and notified by the end of July.
