Keolis awarded $50,000 in scholarships to 25 Boston-area students as part of its 2026 Scholars program. Each student received $2,000 in scholarship money to help pay for post-secondary education or job training.
Keolis is the operating and maintenance partner for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Commuter Rail. Each academic year since 2015-2016, the company has collaborated with local public school districts that largely educate students from underserved communities and first-generation families to select Keolis Scholars based on merit and financial need.
“As a provider of transit solutions globally, Keolis is committed to helping to build the highly skilled workforce that our industry relies upon,” said John Killeen, CEO and general manager of Keolis Commuter Services.
Students and their families were recognized at an awards ceremony held at the State House joined by state and local elected officials.
