Help Improve Safety, Join TRACS!

FTA is seeking applications from individuals interested in joining the Transit Advisory Committee for Safety (TRACS) for a two-year term. For 15 years, TRACS has provided safety recommendations and advice on matters of critical safety importance in public transportation to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation and FTA Administrator.

On average, the full committee meets twice annually, with monthly subcommittee meetings as members work on tasks, recommendations, and reports. Applications are due Nov. 6. Refer to the Federal Register Notice for details. FTA prefers electronic submission of applications via email to TRACS@dot.gov.
