Join APTA’s Human Trafficking: Awareness to Action Webinar

APTA is hosting a webinar on methods to combat human trafficking Jan. 17, 2:00-3:30 p.m. Eastern. With the proper training, public transit employees have a unique opportunity to recognize and report human trafficking in the course of their jobs.

Truckers against Trafficking’s Busing on the Lookout (BOTL) program provides free, industry-specific resources for public transit agencies to equip employees with the information they need to combat human trafficking.

This presentation will:

• Review the anti-trafficking resources available to transit agencies.
• Share success stories from the transit industry.
• Highlight a template for implementing human trafficking response protocols, which are vital to effective anti-trafficking initiatives.
