Help Improve Safety, Join TRACS!

FTA is seeking applications from individuals interested in joining the Transit Advisory Committee for Safety (TRACS) for a two-year term. For more than 15 years, TRACS has provided recommendations and advice on matters of critical safety importance in public transportation to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation and FTA Administrator.

On average, the full committee meets twice annually, with monthly subcommittee meetings as members work on tasks, recommendations, and reports. Applications are due Oct. 2. Learn more in a recent Federal Register Notice. Apply at [email protected].
