FTA Trespass and Suicide Prevention Webinar Dec. 11

Trespass and suicide incidents continue to pose serious safety challenges across rail transit systems nationwide. To support the public transit industry with trespass and suicide prevention efforts, FTA is hosting a webinar Dec. 11 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Register here.

FTA will discuss the recently published Safety Advisory on reducing rail trespass and suicide events and provide an overview of data trends and resources for transit agencies. Participants will also hear from the Utah Transit Authority, who will discuss their efforts to prevent unauthorized access to the rail corridor through the use of radar camera surveillance and detection systems.
