FTA Funding Opportunity: $12 Million to Help Connect People to Health Care and Other Critical Services

FTA announced the opportunity to apply for $12 million in competitive grant funding to support transit services for the FY 2026 Innovative Coordinated Access and Mobility Pilot Program. The program helps make transportation more accessible for people with disabilities and families.
Eligible recipients include:
- State departments of transportation
- Local government authorities that operate a public transportation service
- Private non-profit organization
- Operators of public transportation
- Private for-profit entities that provide shared-ride on-demand service to the general public on a regular basis
Applications are due by September 9.
