FRA Administrator Amit Bose will speak at the 2024 APTA Legislative Conference, April 7-9 in Washington, DC.

Bose was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as FRA administrator in January 2022. He was previously appointed as deputy administrator in January 2021. He also served at the FRA during the Obama-Biden Administration.

Immediately prior to joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Bose worked at an architectural and engineering firm, where he also served as board chair of the Coalition for the Northeast Corridor and on the New Jersey Restart and Recovery Advisory Council.

Bose has also worked for New Jersey Transit, New Jersey DOT, and as a transportation staffer in the U.S. Congress.

APTA’s Legislative Conference is the perfect opportunity for public transportation industry professionals to join together and advocate for full funding for public transit and passenger rail, examine federal legislation and policy initiatives affecting the industry, and help shape the industry’s positions and federal advocacy agenda.
