Don’t Miss the Legislative Conference and Advocacy Afternoon

With major transportation decisions on the horizon, APTA’s 2026 Legislative Conference (April 12-14, Washington, DC) offers opportunities to learn about important federal legislation—such as the 2026 Surface Transportation Authorization Act—and policy initiatives.
Directly after the conference, attendees can register to join an Advocacy Afternoon, where they will meet with congressional staff to champion full funding for public transit and passenger rail. APTA will coordinate in-person visits with Members of Congress and their staff, April 14, between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. To join, complete the registration form in its entirety to ensure the proper in-person meetings are scheduled on your behalf.
A separate advocacy training and logistics webinar will be provided to Advocacy Afternoon registrants in early April.
