Deadline Soon to Submit Abstracts for APTA Workforce Summit!

The deadline to submit speaker abstracts for APTA’s Workforce Summit, May 20-21 in Salt Lake City, UT, is Jan 23!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way APTA members work. Preparing the public transit workforce for what is next will require innovation as some roles emerge, change, or grow to incorporate the use of AI. APTA’s Workforce Summit is accepting abstracts for AI workforce initiatives—including AI policies and procedures, operations, and innovative technology—aimed at developing and/or preparing the workforce for the future.

Note: APTA is seeking individual speaker submissions only, at this time, not full panel ideas. Craft abstracts around you and/or a partner presentation, not a full panel of moderator and several speakers. Your submission will be paired with similar submissions to create a well-rounded session.

Internal subject matter experts have developed session topics based on extensive feedback from committee meetings, survey results, and one-on-one member conversations.
