COMTO Celebrates Female Trailblazers in the Transportation Industry

The Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) recently announced the 10 winners of its 14th Annual Celebrating Women Who Move the Nation awards. The awards recognize leaders for their excellence, innovation, and exemplary dedication to transportation.
Many of the honorees are APTA members. They are:

- Daniella Levine Cava, Mayor, Miami-Dade County, FL
- Nikki Frenney-Wiggins, vice president of customer success, MV Transportation
- Lori M.K. Kahikina, executive director/CEO, Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation
- Coree Cuff Lonergan, CEO/general manager, Broward County Transit, FL
- Yvonne Lopez-Diaz, vice president, HNTB Corporation
- Yetunde Olumide, CFO/EVP, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, DC
- Dottie Watkins, President & CEO, Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Austin, TX
