TITLE: Purchase 2,390 Subway Cars (Base 1,140 cars + Option 1,250 cars)

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), acting on the behalf of the New York City Transit (hereinafter the “Authority” or “NYCT”), a public benefit corporation organized under the Public Authorities Law of the State of New York (“NYS”), hereby invites firms to provide proposals for the design, furnishing and delivery of 1140 Cars (the “Base Order”) with an Option to order up to an additional 1250 Cars (the “Option Order”), for the New York City Transit System “A” Division. As detailed in the RFP Overview and Proposal Procedures, both the Base Order and Option Orders have multiple split scenarios consisting of different configurations/combinations of Closed End Cars (the “R262”) and Open Gangway Cars (the “R262OG”). The Contractor will provide all design, engineering, testing, manufacturing, delivery, warranty, training, spare parts, tools, diagnostics test equipment and other services as necessary.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT CONSTRUCTION BIDS

BLUE LINE LAKE ST/MIDTOWN STATION RENOVATION

The Metropolitan Council intends to solicit sealed bids for the construction of the Metro Transit Blue Line Lake Street/Midtown Station renovation project located at 2310 East Lake Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The station serves METRO Blue Line Light Rail Transit on an aerial platform.

The Invitation for Bids is anticipated to be issued in April 2026 for a Spring 2027 construction start. This federally-funded project is a major renovation of the Blue Line aerial station, and the scope includes:

  • Removing the existing partial canopy and attached overhead catenary system, platform shelters, elevators, escalators, and stair enclosures;
  • Reconstructing a new canopy, reinstalling the overhead catenary system, platform amenities, new elevators, and new, widened outdoor staircases; and
  • Construction of a new exterior pedestrian ramp and interior operational facility; and
  • All associated civil, landscape, structural, mechanical, electrical, systems, temporary traffic work, associated testing, and certification to support the project.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ON-BOARD BUS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY FOR CTTRANSIT DIVISIONS

The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (“CTDOT”) is seeking proposals from qualified specialty vendors to develop, execute, administer and analyze an on-board customer satisfaction surveys of all fixed bus routes in the CTtransit system, as outlined in the Request for Proposal’s scope of work. Parties interested in providing these services must have a proven track record of excellent work on survey design and administration, market research, statistical analysis and report development.

The services provided shall be in accordance with the policies, standards, and procedures established by CTDOT, the U.S. Department of Transportation (Federal Transit Administration) regulations, and the State of Connecticut General Statutes and Regulations.

The Request for Proposal documents, including instructions to submit your proposal, will be available on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 on the CTSource Bid Board web site at https://portal.ct.gov/DAS/CTSource/BidBoard and search for solicitation #34596.

An electronic copy in PDF formant of the proposal is required and must be submitted to dot.transit@ct.gov and received by 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) Wednesday, April 8, 2026. All firms/entities are advised that one copy of OPM Form 1, State of Connecticut “Campaign Contribution Certification”, is to be completed (at the time of Contract execution) for those contracts having an anticipated total value to the State of more than fifty thousand ($50,000) in a calendar or fiscal year. CTDOT will not shortlist or select a prospective firm/entity without this affidavit(s). NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY

MORONGO BASIN TRANSIT AUTHORITY (BASIN TRANSIT/MBTA)

The purpose of this joint procurement is to procure Transit and Paratransit vehicles of various types for the solicitation on behalf of the Basin Transit/MBTA and other participants in the joint procurement. Only those agencies that are listed in Appendix C of the RFP will have the ability to purchase or assign vehicles through this contract and the agencies have provided their needs for the term of the contract.  Following contract award, the California Association for Coordinated Transportation (“CalACT”) shall provide contract administration activities related to the joint procurement.  However, the resulting Contract may only be modified or amended by written action of MBTA.

A Pre-Proposal Meeting shall be held virtually on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 10 am. This meeting shall be held virtually, (Zoom). Please contact the contracting officer (joe@basin-transit.com) for access. The Pre-Proposal meeting is for Proposing Parties only and not intended for subcontractor or supplier attendance.

Specifically, the Agency is requesting proposals and pricing for the following types of buses: Cutaways, mobility standard and low floor vans, medium duty rear engine buses. The St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission (DBA – Metro Bus) located at 665 Franklin Ave. N.E. St. Cloud, MN. 56304 is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of an integrated enterprise financial management solution to support finance, AR/AP, fixed assets, grant administration, contract management and other business related functions. The proposed solution will either replace or fully integrate with existing systems to meet Metro Bus’s operational and federal and state reporting requirements.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority is advertising Invitations for Bids for large-scale materials contracts. These contracts include Overhead Contact System (OCS) Poles, Long Welded Rail, Monobloc Concrete Ties, Ballast, OCS Components, and Fiber Optic Cables.

Please be advised that Monobloc Concrete Ties, and Ballast are currently available for bid. The remaining material procurements will be released in Quarter 1, 2026.
