Celebrating the Public Transportation Workforce

The public transportation workforce is often called the heart of the industry. To recognize and honor transit workers, APTA is encouraging its members to mark their calendars and plan for National Transit Employee Appreciation Day on March 18.
The day is an opportunity to show gratitude to the industry’s dedicated employees and to position transit as a viable career. Suggested activities include expressions of gratitude, social media posts, information fairs, employee highlights, and staff celebrations.
