Become a TCRP Ambassador!

7/30/2024

The Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) is recruiting a new class of ambassadors for 2024-26. Ambassadors are a diverse group of transit professionals who represent TCRP at industry events and visit transportation providers to help educate them on the wide variety of TCRP solution-based research available.

Ambassadors act as a liaison between TCRP, its member organizations, the research community, and transportation properties. Through peer-to-peer collaboration, ambassadors place TCRP research information into the hands of stakeholders, transportation professionals, managers, and other personnel who use the program’s research products in the field. Ambassadors also educate organizations on how their employees can become involved.

Ambassadors receive professional development training in communications, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement. Ambassadors serve a two-year term. All travel expenses are covered for program participation and event support. Learn more and apply at www.comto.org/tcrp. For questions, contact Tiara Fisher, senior manager, NextGEN Programs, at tiara.fisher@comtonational.org.

Sponsored by FTA, TCRP serves as one of the principal means by which the public transportation industry can develop innovative near-term solutions to meet demands placed on it. Learn more at www.trb.org/TCRP.
