APTA’s Safety & Risk Management Seminar, Dec. 8-11 in Atlanta, GA, is open for registration. Join your peers as this event, which features special tracks for both transit risk management and transit safety professionals.
The seminar provides an opportunity to discuss pertinent issues as well as network and learn from federal and state partners about recently passed rules and regulations, federal oversight, and technical assistance programs.
The Safety Seminar will explore topics including Safety Management Systems, safety and security certification, bus safety, operator and transit worker assaults, APTA standards and recommended practices, cybersecurity, collision avoidance, and trespassing and grade crossing awareness.
The Risk Management Seminar will explore workers’ compensation, insurance updates, emerging technology, environmental exposures, post-COVID practices, battery-electric bus fires, and more.
