Apply to Join FTA’s TAM Tribal Transit Discussion Forum

1/16/2026

FTA’s Transit Asset Management (TAM) Program is continuing its series of peer discussion forums for transit agency staff responsible for TAM implementation. FTA will host the next session, a virtual discussion focused specifically on Tribal Transportation Providers, on Wed., Feb. 25 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. This 90-minute session will provide a forum for participants to discuss the unique considerations and circumstances involved in managing TAM for tribal transportation agencies.

Since the virtual discussion is limited to 10 participants, FTA requires all interested individuals to submit an application by Jan. 28. Participants should be well-versed in their agency or organization’s asset management policies and processes and willing to share insights and ideas related to TAM implementation. Participants will be selected based on the diversity of perspectives they bring from their agencies, as well as the quality and thoughtfulness of their responses to the application questions, to ensure a productive and engaging discussion.

FTA’s TAM discussion forums provide an opportunity for peers from different transit agencies to share successes, challenges, and lessons learned. This session will provide a place for individuals who manage tribal transportation agencies to discuss best practices and challenges that may differ from those faced by non-tribal agencies.

Outcomes of the discussion will be shared through case studies or a published event summary.
