Apply for 2025 APTA Safety, Security, Emergency Management Awards!

APTA’s Bus and Paratransit and Rail Safety, Security, and Emergency Management Awards recognize APTA public transportation system members that have implemented programs, projects, or initiatives that have achieved documented success in addressing specific safety or security program areas. 

The deadline to submit applications for the Bus and Paratransit Safety, Security, and Emergency Management Awards (very large, large, medium, and small agencies) is Feb. 24. The deadline for the Rail Safety, Security, and Emergency Management Awards (commuter, heavy, light rail, and streetcar) is April 21. 

Bus award winners will be announced at APTA’s 2025 Mobility Conference April 6-9 in Austin, TX. Learn more and submit nominations here. Rail award winners will be announced at APTA’s 2025 Rail Conference June 29-July 2 in San Francisco, CA. Learn more and submit nominations here.
