APTA Participates in InnoTrans 2026

APTA President and CEO Paul P. Skoutelas, APTA Chair Leanne Redden, Vice President of Strategic and International Programs Petra Mollet, and Vice President of Policy, Mobility, Technical Services, and Innovation Art Guzzetti are participating in InnoTrans 2026, the international transportation industry trade fair taking place Sept. 22–25 in Berlin.

APTA and co-sponsor Almaviva also hosted a reception in Berlin Sept. 21, welcoming APTA members attending the event.

Organized by Messe Berlin, InnoTrans brings together transportation professionals and industry leaders from around the world. The event is organized into five trade fair segments: Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors, and Tunnel Construction.

InnoTrans also features an outdoor and track display area, with approximately 3,500 meters of track showcasing vehicles and equipment ranging from tank wagons to high-speed trains. The exhibition occupies all 42 halls at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

The 2024 edition drew 2,946 exhibitors from 59 countries and 169,214 visitors from 128 countries.

APTA’s participation provides an opportunity to engage with transportation organizations and industry stakeholders from around the world and highlight the association’s role in advancing public transportation in North America and internationally.
