Meet New Members of APTA Executive Committee

APTA’s 2026 Nominating Committee met in Washington, DC, during the association’s Legislative Conference, April 12-14, to select new members of the APTA Executive Committee.

Approved by the APTA Board of Directors to serve on the 25-member APTA Executive Committee were:

  • Robert DeJournett, Board Member, Akron Metro RTA, who will serve as Transit Board Member At-Large until 2026.
  • Jennifer Ide, Board Chair, Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, who will serve as Transit Board Member Committee Representative until 2028.
  • Bryan Smith, CEO, CityBus, Lafayette, IN, who will serve as Small Ops Rep. until 2027.
