T&I Committee Ranking Member Rep. Larsen to Address APTA Legislative Conference

Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA) will be speaking at APTA’s 50th Legislative Conference, April 12-14 in Washington, DC. As the lead Democrat on the Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) Committee, Larsen is a major player in this year’s Surface Transportation Authorization Law.

Larsen is focused on making bold, long-term investments in infrastructure to create more jobs and build a cleaner, greener, safer, and more accessible transportation network. Under his leadership, $8.4 billion in Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funding has been invested in Washington State’s infrastructure as of January 2024, with more than 660 projects identified for funding statewide.

Larsen is in his 13th term serving northwest Washington’s Second Congressional District, which includes portions of Snohomish County and all of Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan counties.
