Rep. Glenn Ivey to Speak at APTA Legislative Conference

APTA welcomes Rep. Glenn Ivey (D-MD) as a guest speaker at its 2024 Legislative Conference, April 7-9 in Washington, DC.
Rep. Ivey has spent his career largely in public service. He serves on the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on the Judiciary. Previously, he worked as chief counsel in multiple offices on Capitol Hill and as the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney. He has cosponsored several transportation-related bills this Congress and supports expanded federal funding for transit service.
APTA’s Legislative Conference is the perfect opportunity for public transportation industry professionals to join together and advocate for full funding for public transit and passenger rail, examine federal legislation and policy initiatives affecting the industry, and help shape the industry’s positions and federal advocacy agenda.
