In Memoriam: David B. McLaughlin

David B. McLaughlin, vice president of sales and marketing for American Seating, died recently.

McLaughlin’s career with American Seating spanned more than 40 years. Beginning in the management information systems area, he became vice president of management information systems in 1987. In 1993, he was promoted to vice president and general sales manager of the transportation products group and remained in this capacity throughout his career.

In addition, McLaughlin served as a director, executive, and officer of the company at various times.

For APTA, McLaughlin was a member of the Business Members, Procurement and Supply Chain, Access, Legislative, and State Affairs committees.
