House Passes Rolling Stock Protection Act

The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 3317, the Rolling Stock Protection Act, May 21, which prohibits public transit funds being used to procure Chinese rolling stock.
Specifically, the bill eliminates the current law exemption that allows four public transit agencies to continue to procure Chinese rail rolling stock. View APTA’s fact sheet for more.
