APTA’s ELP Class of 2024 Present Their Capstone Projects

3/7/2024

Over the past several months, APTA’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) Class of 2024 has worked with various APTA committees to research current industry issues including climate-resilience strategies, zero-fare policies, passenger-facing transit cleanliness, strategies to better serve customers with vision impairments, microtransit, and equitable transit-oriented development.

For their capstone projects, each ELP team collected data, interviewed industry leaders, and prepared presentations that highlight the latest policies and practices at public transit organizations. The Class of 2024 teams will offer their recommendations and lessons learned through seven, free presentations March 27-April 9. There will be opportunities to ask the class questions during the presentations.

More information and presentation links are available here. Recordings and presentation materials will be available at the APTAU Learning website (search “Emerging Leaders”) by the end of April.
