APTA Congratulates President-Elect Trump and Vice President-Elect Vance

APTA released a statement Nov. 6 congratulating President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and stating it looks forward to working with their Administration to strengthen public transportation across the U.S.

Noting that public transportation “is a critical driver of our nation’s economy, supporting millions of jobs and generating significant economic activity in communities of all sizes,” the statement noted that “APTA and its members stand ready to work with President-elect Trump and his team to advance transportation infrastructure investment that will create American jobs, strengthen our communities, and grow our economy. We look forward to sharing our expertise and collaborating with the new Administration to build a 21^st century public transportation system that serves all Americans.”
