MTI’s Elementary Poster Contest Promotes a More Sustainable Future

The Mineta Transportation Institute’s (MTI) Elementary Poster Contest allows students in grades 1-6 to convey their knowledge of a safe, sustainable transportation future through an artistic, visually compelling image.

One of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions is gasoline-powered transportation. That is why this year, the contest theme is Get Going, Go Green! This year’s contest is co-sponsored by APTA.

The People’s Choice Awards will go to the top-voted poster in Group 1 (grades 1-3) and Group 2 (grades 4-6). Winning posters will be displayed at the annual Mineta Transportation Institute Banquet at San José State University in June.

Vote here for your favorite from each of the two groups by Jan. 24.
