FTA to Host State Safety Oversight Final Rule Webinar

FTA is hosting a State Safety Oversight (SSO) Final Rule Overview webinar Oct. 30, 2:00 p.m. Eastern.

On October 18, 2024, FTA published updates to the State Safety Oversight rule in the Federal Register, incorporating comments received from the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. The updates to the final rule implement Bipartisan Infrastructure Law requirements, remove outdated references, clarify existing requirements, and simplify the two-hour safety event notification process.
