Review, Comment on APTA Standards

The APTA Standards Program has advanced four new documents for public review and commenting and APTA is seeking feedback from all executive-level industry stakeholders to help shape the language in the documents.

The public comment period is an essential component of APTA’s consensus-based standards development process.

The current documents address the following topics:

Security and Emergency Management

• Suspension of Service of a Public Transportation System and Recovery

Bus Transit Systems

• Standard Bus Procurement Guidelines RFP

Commuter, Intercity, and High-Speed Rail (PRESS)

• Structural Stainless Steels for Railroad Passenger Equipment
• Passenger Rail Vehicle Structural Repair
